June 14, 2007 |  Northeast MT Low-Topped Rotating Storm

I originally targeted northeast of Williston, ND, but after seeing the marginal storms that did manage to fire under the mid level cloudiness I decided to abort the area in favor of some isolated storms in southern Saskatchewan. I drove west to Opheim, MT where a rogue cell took off just as I was about to call it a day. This storm's only highlight was that it eventually developed a compact rotating base with some inflow tags extending off to the southeast. There were several cold air funnel reports in southern SK and I observed at least one miniscule funnel south of the Port of Opheim. Overall, not too bad of a day considering how shallow most of these storms really were.
